About Lila Weber
MSW, RSW
I’m a compassionate and intuitive therapist with over 25 years of experience walking alongside individuals through seasons of pain, transition, and growth. I’m known for my grounded presence, creative spirit, and unwavering commitment to justice and healing.
I hold a Master of Social Work and am a Registered Social Worker (RSW). In my work, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities—including AEDP, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Approaches, Mindfulness, and Somatic Practices—while always honouring your unique story, pace, and process.
Through my private practice, Cedar Path Therapy, I offer a safe and supportive space for adults to explore their inner landscapes, reconnect with their bodies, and navigate life’s challenges with curiosity and care. My approach is gentle and holistic, weaving together psychoeducation, embodiment, and deep listening, with the belief that even in pain, moments of light and joy can emerge.
I have extensive experience working with women healing from abuse, Indigenous clients, newcomers to Canada, and individuals impacted by anxiety, grief, spiritual trauma, and chronic stress. I also offer therapy in Spanish, and provide online support to clients across British Columbia.

FAQs
-
You can start the process of counselling by emailing me at lila@cedarpaththerapy.ca. Once I get in touch with you, we’ll set up a free 15-minute consultation. Together we’ll discuss what brings you to counselling and what your personal goals are. I will also set you up with a JANE account (the app software Cedar Path Therapy uses), so you can receive appointment reminders, receipts, and more.
-
Our time together will be guided by your needs and pace. I create a gentle, supportive environment where you can explore what’s present for you—whether that’s navigating anxiety, working through trauma, or reconnecting with your body. Sessions may include talk therapy, mindfulness and somatic tools, and psychoeducation, depending on what feels right for you. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and always grounded in safety.
-
Yes, I offer online sessions to adults living anywhere in British Columbia. I use a secure, Canadian-based platform that meets privacy standards (PIPA/PIPEDA compliant and end-to-end encrypted) to ensure confidentiality and ease of access from your own space.
-
Many extended health plans cover therapy with a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I recommend checking with your provider to confirm your specific coverage. If you are eligible, I’ll provide detailed receipts for reimbursement. My RSW registration number is available upon request.
-
My fee is $150.00 per 50-minute session. I understand that the cost of counselling can be a barrier for some, and I hold a small number of reduced-fee spots for clients who would not otherwise be able to access therapy due to financial barriers. If this applies to you, please feel free to reach out and we can explore options together with care and mutual respect.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice are subject to the full session fee.
-
I currently work with individual adults only. My practice focuses on supporting adults of all ages, particularly women, who are navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and recovery from difficult relationships.
-
